Scripta Classica Israelica (SCI) is the annual peer-reviewed journal of the Israel Society for the Promotion of Classical Studies. The journal is published in Israel and is generously supported by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Bar Ilan University, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Haifa University, Tel-Aviv University and the Open University. From its inception in 1974, Scripta Classica Israelica has been devoted to the study of Classics and Ancient History, including the Jewish world in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. It welcomes articles in English, French, German, Italian or Latin on all aspects of the classical world. Submissions are refereed by outside anonymous readers.
